Car Maintenance Tips to Keep From Visiting the Mechanic

It’s got ten different tips for how to drive your car that will make a big difference on the wear and tear you put on the engine. Some of these are things that probably very few people do - but others I get a sense are pretty common. Some of the better tips to check out are #1, that you shouldn’t have anything on when you turn on the ignition (because of extra stress on the engine), #3, that you should fill up your tank before you hit empty because it can kick up dirt into the engine, costing thousands to repair, and #5, to always have your tire pressure checked when you get your oil changed. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and with a car little changes in your habits can save you thousands of dollars over time. This article is well worth a read.
