Get Your College Textbooks for Free
9 September 2006There’s a new company offering to do just that – they put advertisements into textbooks and then let you download them online for free. They’re called FreeLoad, and right now they’re only offering textbooks for certain business, math, and computer science classes. They’re real textbooks, but the selection is pretty limited. Your professor might assign a specific book, and there’s no guarantee it will be any of the ones they’ve got up there. But it’s worth a look – especially because it looks like they’re just getting started. In a few years, you might not have to worry about textbook costs at all.
