Weird Business Ideas That Actually Made Money

There’s a neat blog I just ran across called Uncommon Business. It’s really just a collection of news stories about people who started strange businesses and ended up having them work. It’s fun to browse through, and maybe you’ll find an idea or two of your own (or reassure yourself that the Combined Robot Nose Trimmer / Orange Juice Dispenser you’ve been working on in the garage really WILL be a hit).

Here’s a few I liked:

1) A company setting up christmas light displays

2) The turtlemobile - a guy who turns cars into strange advertising gimmicks

3) Dog manikins
